Pohang

        Me and my Indian colleague reached Pohang in the evening around 8pm. We are invited by one of the Korean colleagues to stay in his home. I was so excited to visit a Korean home for the first time. And, it was awesome. I was heart melted by the way they treated us. It was so warm. The parents were so kind and they treated us like one of their family members. The rooms were so neat. Everything was perfectly organized. In the main hall, they had a bed on the floor and everyone sat on the floor. There was no high sofa on the main hall. I was astonished by the variety of foods they prepared for us. And everything was so delicious. I ate a lot on that day after a long time. It was a complete Korean traditional food with lots of love.

        After spending a night over there, we had a breakfast next day in his home. His mother prepared tteokguk which is traditional Korean rice cake soup that they will have during the Lunar New year and Seollal. It was amazing. Bidding good bye to the wonderful family, we went to Yeongildae beach in Pohang. It was perfect weather over there and perfect time to click sunrise pictures. The beach had lot of ships as the port was very near to that place. There were also many big industries which we can witness from the seashore. Then we walked towards spacewalk.

        I never had a roller coaster ride but never thought I would walk on the roller coaster path. Space walk was like that. The structure was attractive and we can walk over to see the beautiful Pohang city. When we started climbing up the stairs, the stairs were shaking and the wind was heavy. I was literally shaking and freezing. It was a trilling and wonderful experience over there.

        Finally, we reached back to Gyeongju by noon and visited Gyeongju tower. It had parks, museum, light show, art gallery, theatre, exhibition hall, gaming centre and observatory, all in one place. The time was enough to spend almost 3 hours there. After witnessing the beautiful gyeongju from the observatory, we marched our way back to seoul.

Balwangsan mountain (Yongpyong Ski resort)

          Balwangsan mountain would rank among my top travel experiences in South Korea, given the option to choose. I went on the entire day trip by myself. One of the longest cable cars in Asia, measuring around 7 km, was located in Balwangsan. The cable car ride to the peak took about 13–15 minutes. Snow was falling, and the weather was excellent, adding to the beauty. This was the day I had been waiting for to post the song "puthu vellai malai" in my status. Snow blanketed the entire mountain because it had been snowing all day. It also features a sizable skiing area where a great deal of people were skiing. Seoul International Fireworks Festival 2022

          How could I forget the evening which made the Seoul Sky colourful and made me to feel like it was morning? A great day at Seoul happened on September, Seoul International Fireworks festival. The performance took place in Yeouido Hangang Park. Since it happened after 3 years, huge set of people gathered along with their families and loved ones.           I was very amazed with how well they had prepared. They bought the necessary food, a mat, and a tent. It made the ideal display for a picnic. Even though the show planned time is only after 7 o'clock, they arrived early, and just enjoyed themselves with their loved ones. This is life. Am I right?
