Balwangsan mountain (Yongpyong Ski resort)
Balwangsan mountain would rank among my top travel experiences in South Korea, given the option to choose. I went on the entire day trip by myself. One of the longest cable cars in Asia, measuring around 7 km, was located in Balwangsan. The cable car ride to the peak took about 13–15 minutes. Snow was falling, and the weather was excellent, adding to the beauty. This was the day I had been waiting for to post the song "puthu vellai malai" in my status. Snow blanketed the entire mountain because it had been snowing all day. It also features a sizable skiing area where a great deal of people were skiing. The view of the skiers from the cable car was amazing.
I felt as though I was getting close to the
blue sky after reaching the summit and gazing in the panoramic vista of the
mountains spreading out beneath me. I felt as though I was floating above the
sky from the top observatory since it was snowing nonstop. I was by myself.
Nonetheless, throughout the expedition, I had the opportunity to socialize with
a number of foreigners from other nations. They all come from various
backgrounds and different cultures. It was amazing being with them. It was
delightful to hike through the yew forest, reach a height of 1458 metres, have
wonderful chats, play in the snow, enjoy coffee near where the web series
"My ID is Gangnam beauty" was filmed, ride the cable car, and snap
gorgeous images.
An experience beyond my expectations.
