Seoraksan National Park

My first trip to a national park in Korea was to Seoraksan. There were a lot of people there because it was seollal time. Together with a few of my Indian colleagues, I went there. At the entrance to the park is a sizable Buddha temple. The route path began curving through the lush forest. When I saw how well everything was kept up, I was quite impressed. The walking areas are tidy. The barriers were adequately maintained. The mountain stairs were the best part. Such a building has never been seen in India. There were stairs leading up the mountain, and they weren't only made of wooden blocks; there were also rubber bushes for the trekkers' comfort.

Several waterfalls in the mountain were traversed during the hike. It resembled scaling waterfalls that were already close to the top. The climb up took about 2.5 hours. Therein is the beauty. We can see the entire mountain unfolding in front of us from the summit. It was indescribable.

There are a lot of hikers, and the most of them are older than 45. The energy and interest of these people astounded me. They had everything they needed, including the correct trekking shoes, clothing, hat, sticks, and food. It was obvious that they were seasoned hikers. Despite the large population, no one dumped trash on the land. They purchased food, consumed food, but they left the leftovers on their bag. The national park was preserved even more lovely by both the government and the general public.

Trekking in such a magnificent setting was wonderful.
