Palaces of Korea

For its distinctive traditional Asian architecture, Korea is well known. I visited a good number of palaces throughout my entire stay in Korea. The building design was gorgeous. All of the palaces had essentially the same plan. The difference is the palace's occupied land area. Be a Roman when you're in Rome, the proverb says. Wearing the traditional Korean hanbok in a palace is very exciting.

I was dressed in a hanbok when I went to Gyeongbokgung Palace. Also, there were other events taking place daily inside the palace. There were also some tour guides available to walk visitors—both Korean and foreign—through the palace and provide background information. I observed them thoroughly describing every aspect of the artwork, the architecture of the building, the wall pattern, the chimney structure, and the history of each item. History is always exciting. Isn’t it?

Here are the glimpse of few palaces where I have visited.
